Blog Wins Top Honor at National Communications Conference

The Bruce K. Wilson Landscape Business Exchange blog received First Place in marketing communications/new media at the 23^rd Turf & Ornamental Communicators Association (www.toca.org) meeting held May 3, in Nashville, Tennessee.

 

Blog Editor and TOCA member Cheryl Steelberg accepted the award on behalf of Bruce K. Wilson. Mustang Marketing, Thousand Oaks, CA (www.mustangmktg.com) shares the award for design.

 

The 2012 Communications Awards program received over 400 submissions for writing, design, photography, publishing, editorial, advertising, websites, social/new media, marketing communications and video and were judged by a panel of journalism and media professionals from outside the green industry.

 

Blogs were judged on creativity, concept and clarity of message and we’re pleased that the Landscape Business Exchange received high marks in each category. The judges let us know our information is well-thought out and illustrating clear and complex points with practical consistency.
